Carroll has stuggled to establish himself at Anfield and manager Dalglish may have lost patience with Carroll.
In another paper, the Magpies would be willing to pay about £15m for Carroll, but the Tyneside club believes Liverpool’s valuation could be closer to £25m according to the Times .
